It's not a pigs fault

It's Not a Pig's Fault is a social deduction game set in the CPigs (Corrupted Pigs) universe, inspired by classics such as Werewolf and Mafia. Players are secretly assigned to one of two factions: the Pure, who seek to expose corruption, and the Corrupt, who infiltrate the community and eliminate their opponents while concealing their identities.

Each round combines discussion, deception, deduction and strategic decision-making. Every conversation may reveal a clue, every accusation may be genuine or manipulative, and every player must decide who can be trusted. Victory depends not only on reading others, but also on convincing them to believe you.

Rather than relying on chance alone, It's Not a Pig's Fault rewards critical thinking, persuasion and collective reasoning, making every match a unique social experience.

Every Vote Matters

Voting is the defining mechanic of It's Not a Pig's Fault. At the end of each discussion, players must collectively decide who should be eliminated from the game. This decision shapes the course of the match: a well-informed vote can expose a Corrupt player, while a misguided one may remove an innocent member of the Pure faction.

Because every player has an equal vote, influence is earned through arguments rather than authority. The game demonstrates how information, trust, participation and accountability affect collective decisions. A single vote can alter alliances, shift the balance of power or determine the outcome.

By placing voting at the heart of its gameplay, It's Not a Pig's Fault transforms a familiar social deduction format into an engaging reflection on decision-making, responsibility and the importance of informed democratic participation.

It's Not a Pig's Fault is part of the CPigs (Corrupted Pigs) brand, a sister project of BrightGov. While BrightGov focuses on developing trustworthy digital voting and civic participation technologies, CPigs explores the same themes through games, storytelling and community engagement.

Together, these projects aim to make governance, accountability and democratic participation more accessible and engaging. CPigs uses satire, creativity and interactive experiences to spark conversations about corruption, trust and collective decision-making, while BrightGov develops the technologies that can strengthen democratic processes in the real world.
